Introduction:

In today’s fast-paced business world, the COVID-19 pandemic has forced many companies are now looking for better and more composed solutions that will help employees maintain their mental health, and it has become crucial to ensure employees have a comfortable and productive work environment companies are now shifting towards remote work to be more flexible and accessible. With this shift, companies must ensure that their employees are equipped with the right tools to work from home effectively. This is where Homerun comes in with its innovative solution that offers work-from-home certificates based on employees’ responses regarding their work-from-home setup.

Challenges:

Homerun approached our team with the challenge of creating a comprehensive and custom system that would enable companies to assess their employees’ work-from-home environment and provide them with automatically generated certificates and categorize them in different categories based on their responses these certificates will then be sent to the employees directly to their emails. The system needed to be user-friendly and easy to use, and also provide companies with in-depth analytics based on employee responses.

Solution:

To solve the challenge, our team used a combination of Airtable, Typeform, React, Node.js, and Make.com to create a custom web application that met all of Homerun’s requirements. Our solution was designed to be intuitive and easy to use, making it simple for companies to share forms with their employees, collect and analyze their responses, and generate certificates for their employees. The system was designed with a clean and modern look, making it easy for employees to fill out the form and for companies to view and analyze the responses. The system was able to create an in-depth analysis based on the responses submitted by the employees. The system created different charts to display multiple data. The analytics provided by the system allowed companies to get an in-depth understanding of their employees’ work-from-home setup and identify areas for improvement. The form was created using Typeform, which allowed for easy customization and offered a user-friendly interface. The back end of the system was built using Node.js, which allowed for efficient data processing and storage. The front end was developed using React, providing a smooth and responsive user experience. To store and manage the data collected from the forms, we used Airtable, which allowed for easy access and manipulation of the data.

Results:

Our solution was able to meet all of Homerun’s requirements and exceeded their expectations. The system made it simple for companies to assess their employees’ work-from-home environment and provide them with certificates based on their responses. The analytics provided by the system allowed companies to get an in-depth understanding of their employees’ work-from-home setup and identify areas for improvement.
